ABOUT UNIOPS:

Unilever Operations (UniOps) is the global technology and operations engine of Unilever offering business services, technology, and enterprise solutions. UniOps serves over 190 locations and through a network of specialized service lines and partners delivers insights and innovations, user experiences and end-to-end seamless delivery making Unilever Purpose Led and Future Fit.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

  • Act as Unilever first point of contact for technical& service issues related to Consumer Experience Engineering services
  • Improve, develop and operate an efficient service management framework and ensure that CEE platform delivers an excellent and efficient technology Service to all stakeholders.
  • Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvements: Continuously monitor and optimize processes through automations, identify bottlenecks in the workflows and expose them through efficient reporting mechanisms. Investigating alternative approaches and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Align to agile DevOps based software development life cycle with automation in mind.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with business teams to ensure alignment and transparency. Managing relationships with SI partners, third-party data providers and vendors, ensuring data ingestion agreements and SLAs are met.
  • Team leadership: Leading a team of Big Data Platform engineers. Mentoring and coaching database engineering team.


KEY
Accountabilities :

  • Experience in Service delivery, ownership and improvement
  • Act as Unilever\xe2\x80\x99s Tech lead to stakeholders from Marketing Services on Key services from Consumer Experience platforms
  • Communicate to business stakeholders about platform issues, changes\xe2\x80\xa6.
  • Establish regular touchpoint with business stakeholders to understand service requirements/demand and improvement plans.
  • Work with business teams to ensure that the benefits of the existing service lines and new/updated services lines within area of responsibility are achieved.
  • A business acumen enthusiast and pickup related activities
  • Vendor and Stakeholder management
  • Experience of working with teams using Agile / DevOps concepts.
  • A commitment to delivering and securing the highest quality data.
  • Dedication to a collaborative working style and the ability to work well in small teams, both onshore and offshore.

IT COSTS
  • Assist with providing input on support cost.
  • Assist with annual service agreement establishment and sign-off with our customers.
  • Assist with processing of actual costs as required within area of responsibility.

SECURITY / COMPLIANCE
  • Adhere to governance & compliance framework.
  • Monitor compliance to all IT related policies mandated by the IT Operating Framework
  • Act as the key contact in case of Cyber Incident.
  • Support Execution of DRP/BCP plans as appropriate within area of responsibility.
