ODC business has grown high and PL India team needs a technical person to manage ODC operations at Ports and Sites Your Role ODC business has grown high and PL India team needs a technical person to manage ODC operations at Ports and Sites Your Responsibilities Conducting route survey based on cargo dimensions. Preparing feasibility study and design multimodal transportation plans. Creating route plans, Transport methodologies and Loading mythology. Developing Method of statement for heavy lift with coordination of appointed transporter,Shipper and Vessel owner Liasioning with regulatory authorities, government agencies for smooth execution of ODCmovements. Ability to develop alternate routings and handle civil work related to manage throughbarriers. Responsible for monitoring complete ODC movements and keeping close coordination withcontractors and project owners in complex, multinational projects to ensure clientrequirements are met and guarantee the engineering solutions are valid both technicallyand economically. Also includes but not limited to, guidance to Q-SHE teams on riskassessments and working guidelines. Ensuring safety while handling ODCs at port or Site Your Skills and Experiences Minimum 02-04 years' experience in a Freight Forwarding Industry or Project LogisticsCompany. Civil/Mechanical Engineering degree/ Naval Architecture and Ocean EngineeringDegree/Diploma. English (written and spoken) communication is essential. Knowledge of Local Languages should be added advantage.
