Job Description

As part of an organization\'s IT team, Network Engineers work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and IT Managers assisting in design, build & operational support to various teams working within the larger technology group Primary role of the candidate would be to safeguard all network elements, including LAN, WAN, internet, intranet & any other data communication systems. Qualifications 5+ years of validated experience in implementing, documenting, and troubleshooting network technologies in a large environment. Cisco CCNP certification and/or relevant skillset preferred. Understanding of SSL/TLS protocol with advanced understanding of TCP/IP networking. In-depth understanding and implementation of LAN/WAN technologies and concepts - P2P, MPLS, VRF, Cisco ACI. knowledge of Layer 3 technologies, including - IPv4, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIM, HSRP, DMVPN, NHRP. Advanced level knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, including -Spanning-Tree, VLANs, Dot1q. Competitive understanding/knowledge of Cloud Networking technologies such as AWS or Azure is strongly preferred. Experience with load-balancing technologies and platforms such as Citrix, F5 etc. Working knowledge of packet analysis using Wireshark or other packet capture solutions. Experience on Cisco CUCM (Voice call manager).
