JOB DESCRIPTION - Microsoft Modern Workplace Security Associate Technical
Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
Mac, IOS, and Android Device Management expertise. (Preparing the device, formatting, partitioning, golden image, installing applications).
JAMF Pro Expertise in Onboard, configuring, and managing the life cycle of Mac and IOS devices.
Strong knowledge of Networking Concepts.
Setting up a local profile within the device, or disabling, setting up Windows Hello, Windows Business for Hello.
Upgrading OS for Win, MAC, IOS, and Android, troubleshooting issues during the upgrade.
Device drivers update, roll back, and troubleshooting and fixing.
Recover data from crashed devices.
Encryption, Antivirus management.
Configuring devices with LAN and WIFI, setting up Access points.
Strong knowledge of OS Installation and troubleshooting
Walking customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
Escalate & asking targeted questions to diagnose problems with seniors
Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
Conduct remote troubleshooting
Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
Troubleshooting WIN, MAC, IOS, and Android Devices and supporting end-user issues with good clarity of thought and established steps.
Record technical issues and solutions in logs
Help create technical documentation and manuals
Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role
Basic knowledge of e-mail protocols (POP3, IMAP, MAPI/Exchange protocols)
Bases Email Exchange server or O365, One Drive, and SharePoint email concepts.
MS teams, remote assist, RDP steps, and process.
Autopilot knowledge is good to have skill.
Must possess the proven ability to install and configure new IT equipment, perform PC Refresh, deploy new hire installs of equipment, PC moves, retirement, and pickup of devices set for retirement. Wipe drives with proper chain of custody and inventory management.
