As the Micron Gives Program Manager you will be reporting to the Director, Micron Gives Asia and EMEA to support the implementation of the pillars of work which form the Micron Gives strategy in India and other identified Asian countries. You will be responsible to build and implement grants and partnerships that will support the Micron Gives. The main focus areas of this role will be on developing programs to support (i) access of vulnerable populations to STEM education; and (ii) upward mobility and economic empowerment of historically and systemically marginalized populations. You will be leading on identification of potential partners in terms of non profits, multilateral agencies and other civil society actors in the country and in developing out grants and programs.

This role includes all aspects of supporting the Director in developing programs for implementing the pillars of the strategy as well as operational aspects of report generation, approvals and answering general questions regarding the grant process, both externally and internally. In addition, support may be needed to help departments establish large scale events and training on how to use the system.

In addition, other duties will include supporting the entire Micron Gives / Micron Foundation department through a broad set of activities and deliverables including developing and organizing volunteering opportunities for team members, the handling of information requests, ensuring timely communications, meeting and group coordination. Additional responsibilities will include working with the foundation\xe2\x80\x99s grants management software, coordinating the outgoing grants and communication to ensure timely delivery, and assisting with the grant management process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Explore, develop, recommend, and coordinate approaches and partnerships to expand STEM education, skilling and economic empowerment opportunities for historically and systemically marginalized populations
• Support STEM outreach in vulnerable communities, including through adaptation and implementation of Chip Camp
• Develop and lead partnerships with partner non profits, multilateral organisations, other foundations and corporate philanthropies in identified countries
• Support coordination with site ambassadors, country teams and Micron Foundation staff towards implementation of Micron Gives\xe2\x80\x99 priorities
• Support implementation of grant management processes including application and budgetary processes for selected organisations
• Collaborate with networks and partners from across sites to share standard processes, expand programs, and contribute to Micron Gives\xe2\x80\x99s priorities

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Crucial to have experience working in a non profit/multilateral/philanthropy with developing social programmes for vulnerable groups, particularly in India

Experience in developing STEM Education programmes would be an added benefit

Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences or related field

Preferred Skills

Ability to navigate in a multi-cultural environment and country contexts

Experience working in STEM education

Experience on skilling programs

Experience working with non profits supporting marginalized populations in developing countries
