Job Purpose
The VDE Technology Lead role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, implementing and driving usage of VDE system for all learner groups across VIL . This role will be responsible for regular and accurate updation, management and upgradation to improve utilization and
impact business KPIs. This role will also be required to manage all VDE- IT demands and project lead it.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Operations Excellence
- Manage the current management practices as well as design distribution policies and encourage use of systems
- Analyze effectiveness of VDE by observing its usage and evaluate its impact in terms of organizational benefits
- Project manage the E2E user lifecycle on the platform
- On time hosting, publishing of process and product related information to all frontline
- Liaise with the technology providers/integrators, vendors and internal IT team for development/ procurement, maintenance and support
- Handle demand management for changes/upgrades
- Researching and conceptualizing new tools/ improvements & innovations in the existing tools. Participate in the evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of VDE hardware and software tools, technologies and services that enhance the learning experience
- Create demands, review BRS, FRS, UAT scenarios, conduct testing, for implementation of new features
- Communication to the business teams about usage of new features, also collecting feedback post implementation
- Maintaining and leveraging usage MIS for optimal adoption and reporting
Lead continuous Improvement of the systems by:
- Analysing usage patterns and interacting with a cross section of people such as stakeholders, administrators and end users
- Developing insights on the challenges

- Designing and implementing quick solutions
- Lead VDE support team and be responsible for their productivity, quality of output, innovations and special business-driven improvement projects; manage the commercial aspect of procurement
- Timely and accurate management and publishing of critical MIS for the team
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
- Min work Experience of 5-7 years in Telco domain
- At least min 3 years' experience in the training technology domain, managing large enterprise applications/tools. Experience in implementing a Learning management system would be critical.
- Deep domain expertise in managing and working on systems, tools, solutions and platforms and principles of knowledge management
- Leadership skills to influence a diverse and remote groups of people such as CFT, circles, and frontline
- Must have strong planning, organizational skills, problem-solving and analytical and creative skills
- Proficient Technology understanding and ability to apply logics
- Partner/Vendor management skills
- Basic knowledge of database connectivity(SQL/MS Access)
- Possess a strong familiarity with current trends in educational technology and professional development best practices
Must have technical / professional qualifications
- Graduate from any discipline
- Proficient in MS Office
