Job Title: Global Master Data Lead

Location: Ahmedabad

Function: Responsibilities and Main Activities

• Expert level knowledge in Data Cleansing, Data Harmonization concepts, best practices, and technology solutions within an SAP hybrid environment
• Deep understanding of industry specific KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and benefits of SAP and S/4HANA functionality to enable the business
• Ability to speak business language and translate business requirements into technical spec.
• Provide solutions and model solutions based on client\xe2\x80\x99s needs, priorities, and industry leading practices
• Understanding of integration and dependency of Data Migration with other business process areas and their design and the overall SAP Enterprise Structure
• Ability to be hands on if required and mentor junior team members
• Experience leading large global SAP (and S/4HANA) Data Management business transformation program delivery with proven track record and a deep understanding of business values of transformation programs/objectives
• Key responsibility of this role is focused on the ownership of master data management operations and continuous improvement.
• Responsible to manage a team of domains master data SMEs; and manage outsourced team with KHC BPO
• Responsible to track the correctness of incoming requests and analyzing to ensure high quality master data;
• Ensure request process contain the appropriate supporting documentation and comply with corporate requirements before they are implemented into SAP;
• Designing & implementing data operations management focused on clear standard industry KPIs such as data Accuracy, turnaround time, right first time and End to End Leadtime for data creation and availability;
• Responsible to manage the completeness of requests for master data in a timely, accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high quality of master data;
• Design and implement continuous improvement projects for master data;
• Act as focal point for the business to solve any technical question around master data;
• Responsible to deliver excellent customer service by providing regular trainings and general process support for business;
• Responsible for NPS (Net Promoter Score) and CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) on master data process;
• Act as a focal point for audit requirements and work collaboratively with audit team to make sure risks raised by audit are going to be fixed;
• Support our stakeholders for all domains with process improvements projects and other data use cases that demand master data domain expertise;
• Analyze and improve data quality, which includes running regular scheduled data audit reports (e.g. elimination of duplicates, standard text formats, retirement);
• Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and develop new processes to prevent future data quality issues, including taking necessary corrective action;
• Establish data policies and rules that will drive data quality improvement (e.g. unblocking of suspended vendors) and other duties as assigned;
• Responsible for documenting and keeping metadata for master data domain including business terms associated with data elements (Business Glossary and Data Dictionary) and data owners/data stewards assigned;
• Contribute to team success: Actively participating as a committed member of a team and working with other team members to help complete goals and deliverables;
• Perform business requirements analysis for business rules and documents associated with population and extraction of metadata resources;
• Reviewing, Designing, Standardizing & Implementing master data gathering process (Creation and Changes) that will streamline the data collection process (Efficiency and Accuracy);
• Execute data quality activities such as monitoring data quality dashboards to ensure the organization is proactively measuring and proposing corrections to keep improving data quality;
• Management and communication of findings, observations, and outcomes to both senior leadership and core team members;
• Identifying and understanding where manual processes are causing degraded data quality, and work hand in hand with the data governance lead to remediate;
• Driving data quality processes / approaches, including population and usage of the enterprise business glossary and business term inventory for both business and technical resources;
• Management of resources to collate, consolidate and refine the metadata;
• The ideal candidate will be innovative, dedicated, and knowledgeable about data management processes, systems and technologies and understand how data is used throughout the organization;

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting or other relevant subjects;
• Minimum of 10 years overall Master Data Management / Governance & Data Migration experience work experience;
• Fluency in English mandatory
• Advanced user of MS Office, MS Excel in particular;
• Experience with Visio, Sharepoint and MS Project;
• Effective communication, negotiation, influential skills with ability to lead meeting on your own;
• MBA degree in IT, Finance, Economics or Accounting is a Plus;
• Knowledge of databases, including big data technologies;
• Strong understanding of SQL;
• Comfort with BI tools;
• Very strong visualization skills (must be able to create visualizations of abstract data conversations);

• High results-orientation and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment;
