This role is within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector Enablement organization in Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL).

Here's your chance to work as an Enablement Program Manager for the AISPL Public Sector business in the INDIA Region - an organization with high visibility and significant customer impact. The successful candidate is an experienced program manager in global IT organizations, ideally with experience with cloud computing technology and/or knowledge of distributed computing concepts, as well as understanding of sales methodology, sales skill development programs & sales tools such as Salesforce.com. Sales experience is a big added plus.
In this role, you will leverage on your communication and program management skills to plan and launch enablement programs for the internal AWS Public Sector Sales organization to drive adoption and usage of AWS cloud services, for our customer-missions successes. Youll have an opportunity to combine a passion for coaching and enthusiasm for technology, to drive learning and establish positive relationships.

Key job responsibilities

Lead development of WWPS INDIA strategy for onboarding, continuous education, landing new solutions, building ongoing process efficiencies and operationalizing sales methodology across various roles
Identify INDIA WWPS key enablement needs in coordination/collaboration with all stakeholders - the Sales Leadership, Marketing, Services, Business Development, Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Partner team and Operations. Translate business needs into a field enablement plan
Plan targeted enablement programs which incorporate AWSs strategy, mission and technology with our sales and business development methodologies to employees
Work with the Global WWPS Training team, APJ Sales & Solutions team to customize and launch training programs in INDIA.
Provide content and class feedback to facilitators to raise bar on curriculum quality;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5-7 years of experience in program managing business focused & technology related training and programs, and/or 7-10 years of sales experience. A strong player-coach.
Versatility in communicating to both business and technical personas involved in Cloud Computing purchasing and adoption decisions
Understanding of Cloud and Distributed computing concepts.
Excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.
Business / IT degree (e.g MBA) or relevant work experience required.
Self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success taking ownership of projects, with significant discretion and autonomy under complexity.
Excellent organizational and program management skills. The candidate should be able to demonstrate discretion and speed under significant complexity/ambiguity towards customer impact.
Ability to travel approx. 25 PERCENT of time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as either a sales individual or manager prior to moving into program management( Candidates who have significant relevant experience in Cloud Sales, Technology Sales with a passion for Enablement, can apply)
Understands the dynamics of Public Sector business
Experience with learning management systems and e-learning development tools.
recent experience in a fast-paced, multinational technology company.
