Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions: The Human Resources Manager will design, implement, and support talent strategies and programs for Commercial client groups, to enhance the effectiveness of managers and the effective acquisition, performance management, development and movement of talent. In doing so, they will lead and projects and drive execution and implementation of strategies. Covering this period of maternity leave, you can look forward to having a fair amount of independence in delivering in your portfolio, while engaging with various stakeholders in the business. You would work closely with the Danaher HR team to drive the India HR agenda and take the lead on initiatives to improve leadership, competence and organizational development. You should expect a degree of hands-on HR-related working as well. The HR Manager will optimize relationships of associates, managers and operating company leadership linking human resources strategies to business objectives counselling and advising management on a variety of topics related to talent including design and implementation of training, performance management, and organizational design programs ensuring compliance with all labour laws. Consults with leaders on talent management and organizational design challenges. Anticipates challenges and recommends innovative organizational solutions for complex problems. Assists in preparation for talent review and leads talent review sessions further into the client organizations Drives innovation and improvement in human resources as well as in client group Delivers change management consultation to clients Drives and manages workforce planning and headcount management to align strategies with business priorities Provides consultation and training on engagement & retention of associates. Drives and manages performance management processes leading performance calibration annually, coaching leaders on tough conversations, co-creating performance improvement plans and development plans, and ensuring leaders are following through with the annual process. Assists leaders and teams with defining and developing engagement action planning. Consults with clients on internal movement decisions transfers, promotions, job enhancements and ensures decisions are in line with talent and skill gaps, development plans and career pathing. Ensures that all movement aligns with company leveling guides and policy. Partners with client group to effectively acquire professional, management and leadership level talent for assigned client group. Develops detailed onboarding plans for new leaders. Conduct Employee Relations investigations and consult with managers and ER counsel on outcomes and next steps. Responsible for anchoring the new hire on-boarding including Orientation and Immersion plans. Manage end to end HR Operations & Compliance - including but not limited to payroll, workday administration, compliance audits, retirals & benefits etc. Reports monthly metrics to HR leadership and drives to ensure that countermeasures are in place when not hitting targets. Uses data to coach clients and drive correct behaviors. May cofacilitate training and development programs Qualifications BA in Human Resources or related field with 12+ years of HR experience or MA in Human Resources or related field with 7+ years of related experience Solid, sophisticated, and demonstrated skills in consulting, contracting, mediating, negotiating, coaching, business acumen, influencing, and project management Experience in compensation, recruiting, employee relations, organizational development is preferred (ideal mix 2 or more areas) Thorough and deep knowledge of the employee life cycle Experience leading or contributing to medium to large scale re-orgs, org alignment, workforce planning efforts Successful experience managing complex, cross-functional, global initiatives, processes, or projects Experienced with working, consulting, and influencing high level leadership and management Experience working across a global HR and client organization and influencing across, upward and downward. Working knowledge of employment law Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) is necessary and experience of Workday an added advantage At Phenomenex we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
