Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing forecasting models incorporating epidemiology / audit / patient flow or other suitable methodology based on the requirement from business
Work in HHIAD (Human Health Insights Analytics and Data) cross-functional environment to deliver on advanced new age technology and modelling requirements
Work closely with the business partner and forecasting team to define functional requirements and translate into technical specifications
Actively contribute for all elements of model development - concept notes, model development, testing (UAT), model pre-population and rollout while following the Model Lead's guidance for adherence to industry benchmark SDLC standards and technical documentation.
Continuously innovate and evolve existing offering to improve performance and quality of deliverables.
Ensure seamless integration of forecasting models with data base structures and intuitive reporting capabilities (Qlik/Power BI/Tableau)
Actively take up testing, debugging and validating model based on manual or automated approach
Perform technical writing and documentation of the modules/codes developed
Guide junior members in the team and help them take up complicated work streams
Contribute in various automation efforts to drive efficiency gains within the GCAF team
Required Experience and skills:
Master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
3+ years' experience working with Life Sciences companies in forecasting and/or data & analytics function within Commercial or Finance
Expertise with a variety of modeling techniques including statistical, patient-flow, agent based and other systems dynamics-based techniques
Expertise in developing web-based forecasting platforms, conducting simulations, end-to-end pharmaceutical forecasting is a plus
Expertise in various technologies and capabilities (R, VBA, excel, Python, Qlik, Spotfire, PowerBI, SQL)
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to deliver working individually or in teams
Good working knowledge of technical review and implementing industry standard best practices regarding development/maintenance of coding modules.
Strong project management, problem solving and collaboration skills
Experience with databases and cloud technology (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure) will be a plus
