Job Title: Manager Job Family: Finance and Accounting Job Function: Financial Planning and Analysis Reports to: CFO, RTI India Job Summary: This business finance role will be based at RTI India\'s New Delhi office. The person is expected to perform on-going financial analysis; and should have the ability to conduct profitability analysis, forecast costs and variances and analyse deviations. In addition, the person is expected to support Corporate Accounting. Essential Duties : Main purpose of job (List primary duties that occupy a majority of incumbent time in order of importance.) The person is expected to handle and manage all FP&A related activities and controls. Bids, Proposals and Pipeline: Financial Evaluation of proposals on behalf of the company including support in creating proposal budgets. Perform portfolio and pipeline analyses, including ad-hoc analysis as required. Provide financial guidance to Project Leaders and Business Unit Management towards short and long-term strategies, investments, and other key decisions. Identify solicitation needs from financial perspective to develop responsive business proposal with team management. Lead proposal review meetings to facilitate discussions on bid strategy and financial risk with proposal team and senior management. Clarify/Consult with team regarding contractual aspects. Projects Management: Financial analysis and financial management of Projects and other related aspects Perform on-going review of projects including review of actual costs for proper charging and accuracy; initiate journal entries; review invoices; and support processing payment approvals. Prepare monthly progress reports including project forecasts and resource projections for client; ensure that all projects are reviewed on monthly basis and summarization of financial condition of projects is communicated to project leaders. Support in evaluation and preparation of carry over budgets or add-on budgets. Review initial project authorizations and project setup for accuracy, review/solicit guidance for understanding of relevant terms and conditions applicable to contract. Budgeting, Forecasting, P&L Management and Strategy Lead budgeting and forecasting exercises with frequency and depth as per the requirement. Handle other FP&A processes and support senior management and finance teams in various analysis and reporting. Handle financial analysis including conducting profitability analysis, forecast costs and variances and analyzing deviations. Managing various initiatives on behalf of the management to support effective running of the company and towards growth of the organisation. Support senior management is running scenarios, reporting and creating and analyzing strategies including generating customized periodic and adhoc MIS reports. Support and handle the tasks as assigned by Corporate Accounting and help other teams in other financial/compliance areas. Other related tasks and strategies in relation to Financial Analysis. Supporting teams and management with data, details and other support towards ERP implementation and other ongoing changes in Company\'s systems and processes. Minimum Required Education & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree and 7-10 years\' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications / Experience 1. Qualified CA is mandatory 2. Prior experience of working as a Financial support/ financial management 3. Prior experience of working with international and/or U.S. based organization(s). Skills & Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, technical staff and clients; Ability to understand, present and convey financial information to non-financial staff and effectively assist in the management of a project from a financial perspective Provide clear, concise and sound guidance on project financial information to project leaders. Ability to effectively prioritize workload, self-manage and complete tasks to best meet project needs. Attention to detail and accuracy within context of RTI policies. Ability to be resourceful and to take initiative in analyzing situations and applying principles and procedures to assist in the development of solutions to difficult problems; Ability to effectively manage particularly complex and high dollar value projects including developing key relationships, understanding and managing financial indicators and conveying key information to senior staff that is relevant to the project. Demonstrated leadership as leader of internal teams and functional leadership in cross-functional teams. Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel. Ability to multi-task. Ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines. Ability to obtain proper security clearances as noted by contracts.
