Role Overview

Logistics Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 The member is part of the Operations team and responsible for all the Imports, Exports and Domestics shipments/Logistics which are required for the Fisker Group and for the R&D teams. Selected candidate will be a primary point of contact for all the Logistics support/enquires from the Fisker Vigyan India employees and Fisker Global members. His day to day works, including the tracking of all the inward and outward shipments status, preparing the required documents for the shipments, fallow-up\xe2\x80\x99s with the internal and external stake holders for the additional support.
Joining with Operations team for the creating/improving the policies and procedures and actively involving/supporting in any additional assignments based on the business requirements.

Responsibilities

• 
  He has to be a proactive to handle all the Logistics related works which are arises on regular basis.
• 
  Sourcing of Cargo service providers and Consultants with best price.
• 
  Handling end to end of electrical components and PCBs export and import.
• 
  Handling end to end EXIM function, ensure all Export and import happens as per set SLA.
• 
  Verifying import and export shipment documents.
• 
  Arranging of shipment pickups from Suppliers place.
• 
  Processing for Customs examination and arranging delivery.
• 
  coordinating with CHA and Freight Forwarders.
• 
  Coordinating with the AP for making the customs duty payments on-time.
• 
  Taking care of the insurance requirements whenever required for the items which are required the logistics support.
• 
  Maintaining the relations with all the Logistics related vendors.
• 
  Understanding the policies and procedures and Improving where there is a scope.
• 
  Coordinating with the global procurement teams to forecast the imports and Exports.
• 
  Creating the PR\xe2\x80\x99s and POs to the vendors.
• 
  Creating the CHIMS, E-way bills with the help of the available tools for the shipments.
• 
  Reviewing of Invoices/Bills for processing on weekly/Monthly basis.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

• 
  Degree/Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Post graduation qualification is required.
• 
  Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on Experience required in the logistics and Customs.
• 
  Previous experience in handling the Logistics through Air, Sea and Road.
• 
  Knowledge on the India Government taxation rules on the imports related to the Automobile & it\xe2\x80\x99s related components industry.
• 
  Good knowledge of the required documentation for the Imports and export of goods.
• 
  Experience in creating the E-way bills and Invoices for the shipments.
• 
  Must be aware of all the Import and export related documentation works.
• 
  Prior experience using the SAP will be the advantage.
• 
  Records keeping and Asset Management.
• 
  Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• 
  Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 
  Must be comfortable with operating in a fast-paced, startup environment.
