This is a Procurement & Logistics Specialist, reporting to the Global Procurement Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement & Logistics (PL) Practice approved activities. Executes assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets.
• Apply and implement PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
• Create and update reports, as required, following the ABB standards.
• Execute and implement new directions within the area of responsibility.
• Apply standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations.
• Deliver and participate in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
• Execute effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
• Standardize processes and implement routines as per Group directives/instructions.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication.
• 5 to 7years of relevant work experience required.
• Must have experience in EMS. Electronics Commodity, Program Management,Sourcing parts for Product Development, SAP MM.
• Nice to have Design Knowledge, SAP Ariba, Electronics Should Costing.
• Should have Strategic sourcing Experience.
• Should be able to understand Manufacturing Industries, Supply Development, RFQ
• Management.
