Job Description
The role requires spearheading the Technology division for studying, evaluating, and implementing new / Transformation/ Cutting Edge Technology in order to make the company future-ready.
Reporting to the VP - R&D, the position will be responsible for:
- Identifying emerging technologies, materials, and trends in HVAC and related industries
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and researchers to foster a culture of innovation
- Evaluating and Implementing Cutting-Edge Technology
- Managing the execution of innovative projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Protecting and managing intellectual property through patents and other means
- Assessing the risks associated with technology development and establishing mitigation plans to ensure project success and compliance with industry regulations
An ideal candidate is an engineer (M.Tech preferred) with 14+ years of experience in the R&D space. They should have hands-on experience in evaluating technologies and implementing them in the product portfolios. They should have knowledge of the various emerging technologies and should have worked in innovation centers or with institutions where technology implementation happens. They should have strong analytical and communication skills.
