Summary In this role you will be responsible for Consumables management & supporting Indirect Sourcing/Procurement processes. A key element of this position will be to provide functional support to internal customers, ensure business strategies are followed for fulfilment, quality, and cost working closely with each HPT cell to ensure consumables are delivered on time; are of high quality; and provide cost savings to the business.



Essential Responsibilities:

• Expedite and prioritize Consumables timely procurement based on demand and supply to meet production requirements.
• Maintain Min/Mx stock based on lead time and demand supply.
• Interface and own timely updates to internal customers to expedite and resolve issues.
• Review best cost and fulfilment supply chain options and place purchase order to best source to support on-time delivery of qualified product.
• Support to identify alternate source and products to negotiate and get best outcome.
• Measure and analyse supplier performance and drive resolution on performance issues.
• Drive Lean process improvements to mitigate and reduce fulfilment risk,
• Being responsible for lead times, keeping supplier market shares and using agreed prices.
• Negotiate vendor price change requests.
• Work with the Commodity Site Leader and Cost Leader to improve Payment Terms with Suppliers.
• Resolve Accounts Payable and invoice hold issues.
• Drive key sourcing initiatives through continuous improvement projects.
• Drive the elimination of supplier defects that are received into our warehouse.
• Drive Vendor managed inventory based on demand.
• Manage Consumable management operation and Warehouse inventory control.
• Mitigate and minimize premium transportation requests.

• Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal customers.
• Process material against purchase orders and Purchase requisitions using oracle applications material management system
• Work with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent material shortages
• Perform cycle audits and physical inventory per schedule.
• Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to Supervisor
• Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
