Job Summary
The Junior Engineer - Technical Writing will be based in Bangalore and will be responsible for preparation of repair instructions, manuals and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Creates and/or edits technical documentation
• Researches and transforms complex technical concepts, specifications, and procedures into user-oriented information
• Creates and maintains thorough, accurate, and concise end user documentation
• Review project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with technical publication standards
• Manages workload and achieve results with minimum supervision
• Reports project status to Debug Lead
• Commit to deliver 100% quality and timelines
• Use drawings, schematic diagrams, images and charts that increase users understanding.
• Work closely with Engineers, product liability specialists and customer service managers.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with (1 to 3) years’ experience in writing engineering documents.
• Excellent Technical Writing skills.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Good Interpersonal skills

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, Arbor text Editor (or any DITA-based authoring tool) and InDesign
• Domain Knowledge: Electronics domain is preferred over others
• Experience in Technical Illustration will be an added advantage
