Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) team is responsible for providing highly scalable technical services to customer application & software hosted in Oracle clouds. Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for operations involving databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a senior manager of the DevOps/software engineering division, You will need to have knowledge and experience in software development, automation, Devops, agile and cloud technologies. You should be able to identify operational patterns and issues and creatively automate and guide engineering teams for building the solutions. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding various development and sup[port models. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area and 5+ years in a managerial role experience.

Should have overall 15+ Years? experience and should have 5+ years of experience in handling teams and delivering on projects as well as performed Operation activity in Areas of Public Cloud Additionally, the candidate should have proven track record of following - 1) Innovation skills and vision. 2) Business communication, leadership and project management skills 3) Business architectural, analysis and planning skills 4) Technical proficiency (Below mentioned)
Professional Competencies - Engaging in customer meetings while providing technical support, operations support and proactive account management Good verbal and written Communication skills in English Collaborate with other teams (Functional Business Process Leads, DBA, System Administrators, Development, etc) to get issues resolved and to keep the stakeholders informed through constant and timely communications General Technical Competencies - Experienced Oracle Database Administration Cloud platforms Handle high profile issues and escalations as well as resolve complex production problems Root cause analysis of difficult problems and their solutions Knowledgeable in promoting code from Development instances to Production.
