Group Lead: Techno-Commercial -Project based Purchasing,

• Interface with Business unit, Purchasing Organisation, Suppliers, Stake holders
• Self-reliant steering of day-to-day and strategic activities to ensure Quality, Cost and Delivery
• Price Negotiations & contract management
• Market analysis, research
• Supplier Strategy, Material field strategy, Supplier management, Capacity
• Cost structure analysis & derivation of Cost reduction measures
• Supplier selection, evaluation, awarding and new Parts developments
• Preventive quality planning (VQP)
• Employee development - training, skills
• Compliance, Governance,
• Travel - Domestic, International

Qualifications

Bachelor degree - Engineering - Mechanical/Industrial with 10-15 years of relevant experience in Purchase with Team Leading

Practical commercial and project management experience.

Analytical and structural approach.

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization - internally and externally

Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects

SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Team experience required.

Experience in Negotiation skills & Techniques

Sound technical knowledge of Manufacturing processes, methods, Q aspects

Sound knowledge of Costing aspects

Understanding of cost structures/pricing, taxation, import/export procedures

Sound knowledge of Business processes

Team handling experience; Leading self and Team; Cooperation, Collaboration

Result oriented, self driven, initiative

Digitalisation

Additional Information

Preferably having professional experience in Project Purchasing with sound knowledge on Steel Fabrications, Machined components, Filters, Motors, Accumulators, Hydraulic Castings, Measurement technology, Electro mechanical components, sub assemblies, Exposure to Manifold Block machining , Hyd Power Units, Cylinders - parts, processes and tools will be added advantage
