We, the Sales Department of Asia Pacific within Onshore, are looking for a new colleague to lead our Proposal Sales Management team in India as the Head of Proposals. Your contribution to our joint success The Proposal Sales Management team is responsible for developing the most competitive technical solution for our customer projects, guiding them from initial inquiry to contract signing of wind turbine purchase agreements and associated service contracts. The team agrees the scope of supply with the customers, is responsible for and coordinates the necessary technical clarifications with internal and external stakeholders as well as the cost calculations and manages the project planning. The Proposal Sales Management team seeks the necessary internal technical approvals to meet client requirements. During contract negotiations, the Proposal Sales Manager leads the negotiation of technical contract terms and is responsible for the preparation of technical documentation packages. The Proposal Sales Management team determines manufacturing costs based on the agreed scope of supply with the customer. The work is team based and is performed in collaboration with other team members such as the Account Manager, Commercial Sales Manager, Cost Proposal Manager and Contract Manager. The scope of duties also includes the following responsibilities: Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal functional departments in Construction, Logistics, Project Management, Service and various Technology departments. Ensure all activities are conducted in a professional and ethical manner and in full compliance with company processes, protocols and company policies. TheProposal Sales Management role is a global function, and you will interact daily with many of your colleagues online. You will be physically assigned to one of our officesinIndia, and regularly meet and work together with the team that you lead. The customers we serve are located all over India. You will have a high degree of flexibility to plan in-office work hours. Sometimes we will have workload peaks where it is also expected that everyone contributes to get the work done as a team effort. You will be leading a team of experienced and energized coworkers. As a manager and leader of the APAC Proposal Sales Management team, you will be a key person to ensure continuously improvements within its area of responsibility. What you need to make a difference A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You have a professional background in Engineering, Business, Finance or similar with prior experience in the Wind industry. You are familiar with multicultural environments and therefore can adapt to situations that occur in a global organization. Furthermore, you need: Leadership skills, strong drive, cooperative abilities, and ability to see the \'big picture\' Several years\' experience managing a team in sales or project execution Relevant experience with tender processes and negotiations in large organizations. Knowledge and experience in the wind industry with a focus on the Indian market. Overall minimum experience between 10-12 years would be strongly preferred. To be customer-orientated and have a service-minded approach to your work. To be a strong team player with focus on communication. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (as English is the company language).
