Hybrid Workinga,

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. WeaAEURA(TM)re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction
As the Head of Middleware Messaging you will lead a global team of engineers and technicians, to roadmap, deliver, life-cycle and maintain our core Messaging Platforms and offerings.

What will you be doing?
aAEURAa, a, a, Manage a team of resources being responsible for the deliver, life cycle, integrity, availability and utility of Messaging products and services
aAEURAa, a, a, To be instrumental in formulating and supporting Private Cloud & Middleware strategies for constantly improving delivery model within the team Continually evaluating current processes and implementing new innovations within the team where applicable presenting these back to senior managers and key stakeholders in the business to gain aAEURA~buy inaAEURA(TM) and driving new innovations through to implementation tracking and monitoring their success
aAEURAa, a, a, Own the technical deliveries of your engineering team and be responsible for quality and timely delivery.
aAEURAa, a, a, Own and define product strategy and vision.
aAEURAa, a, a, Ensure all platform risks are owned and effectively managed
aAEURAa, a, a, Collect analysing and responding to user feedback.
aAEURAa, a, a, Demonstrate new ideas and features to stakeholders.
aAEURAa, a, a, Identify the areas of improvement and come up with plans to optimize the engineering processes, focusing on automation and process simplification.
aAEURAa, a, a, Keep up to date on the wider industry regulations, standards, and trends.
aAEURAa, a, a, Provide technical leadership to less senior members of the team.
aAEURAa, a, a, Promote innovation, quality, and exploration of new ideas as a culture.
aAEURAa, a, a, Identify own development needs and seek opportunities to address these needs through guidance, coaching and formal training
aAEURAa, a, a, Set goals and objectives; manage the PD plans; performance assessment and reward; performance calibration;

aAEURAa, a, a, Strong understanding of Middleware Technologies with a background in Messaging Technologies (MQ, Kafka, AMQ, Message Broker)
aAEURAa, a, a, Strong understanding of enterprise design principles to build secure, fault tolerant and scalable systems.
aAEURAa, a, a, Strong understanding of Agile application development methodology.a,
aAEURAa, a, a, Strong understanding of Cloud concepts, DevOps and CI:CD.
aAEURAa, a, a, Experience working with PaaS products, including some experience of container orchestration / management utilising products such as Red Hat Openshift / VMWare / AWS / Azure etc.
aAEURAa, a, a, Experience working with IaaS and/or PaaS products, including some experience of either virtualisation, containerisation, orchestration of compute/network/storage.
aAEURAa, a, a, Proven track record of delivering automation solutions and Infrastructure as Code
aAEURAa, a, a, A strong work ethic - team player, creative, passionate and disciplined.

aAEURAa, a, a, Working knowledge of Configuration management tools such as Ansible/Chef/Terraform.
