Position Title: Head of Legal Affairs : Overview: As the Head of Legal Affairs, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the organization. This role requires extensive experience in litigation, arbitration, and hands-on experience with proceedings before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). You will provide legal counsel, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you will lead a team of legal professionals, guiding them in various legal matters. Key Responsibilities: 1. Litigation Management: Manage all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to drafting legal documents, coordinating with external counsel, and representing the organization in court proceedings. Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks and achieve favorable outcomes in litigation matters. Monitor the progress of ongoing cases and provide regular updates to senior management. 1. Arbitration: Handle arbitration proceedings, including drafting arbitration agreements, preparing submissions, and representing the organization in arbitration hearings. Collaborate with external arbitration counsel and experts to effectively present the organization\'s case. 1. NCLT Proceedings: Demonstrate hands-on experience in dealing with matters before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), including insolvency proceedings, mergers, and acquisitions. Prepare and file necessary documents with the NCLT, attend hearings, and ensure compliance with NCLT regulations. 1. Legal Advisory: Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders on various legal issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and corporate governance. Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives. 1. Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying areas of potential legal exposure and recommending remedial actions. 1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Provide guidance and training to enhance the team\'s legal knowledge and skills. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution. Advanced degree (LLM) preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation, arbitration, and NCLT proceedings. Admission to the Bar Association and in good standing. Proven track record of handling complex legal matters and delivering favorable outcomes. Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of legal professionals. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to 200,000.00 per month Schedule:
