Primary Purpose of the Position

• This position is responsible for the overall management of Goodyear (India) Information and Communication technology services, including the responsibility of ensuring these services are meeting the needs of the business, as well as maximizing returns from those investments to improve operational effectiveness.
• The role also has a responsibility to ensure that IT helps the India business to achieve strategic and operational goals that have been identified in the organization\'s strategic and operational plans. As a leader in the business, the IT Manager will take part in identifying these goals.
• The role also ensures that the India digital transformation strategy, core technologies, and analytics capabilities are aligned to accelerate business insights and enhance decision-making across the organization.
• One of the key objectives for this position is to facilitate the integration of India IT Technology and Services, Infrastructure, Applications, and the IT Leadership Team into the broader Regional and Global Goodyear IT businesses. By leveraging and participating in the wider Global IT strategy we aim to ensure Goodyear IT provides a consistent, well-managed, protected, and relevant Global network to help Goodyear grow Sales, EBIT, and Shareholder Returns.

Job Responsibilities :

• Management Team - Participate as a member of the APAC IT Management team. Work with, and assist the IT Regional Manager for non-manufacturing countries (for Asia Pacific) with the delivery of IT services across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring India is compliant with and supports both Regional and Global standards, policies, and other initiatives.
• Delivery of IT Services - In conjunction with the India IT Team, ensure the delivery of all End-User systems, Back-End support infrastructure, Telecommunications, Networks, Applications, Service Desk Support, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Risk minimization, Quality Cyber Security practices, Business engagement, and advice is of very high quality and meets or exceeds the businesses expectations. Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and fit into a variety of roles to meet the requirements of the India Business. In line with the above, obsession with Customer Service Excellence is required.
• Leadership and People Development - Acts as a resource for direction, mentoring, and guidance for the Infrastructure, Service Desk, Applications, and Project teams. Needs to foster a culture of \'solution and support\' within the teams. Take personal accountability and collaborate responsibility with others in developing their own qualities, skills, and career development. Always act with integrity, as you are an ambassador for Goodyear internally and externally.
• Strategy and Planning - Local - Strategy and Planning is required on two fronts simultaneously. Firstly it is a requirement to work closely with the Indian business to develop and understand their strategic and operational objectives, and then align on how IT and can support and enhance those goals through the delivery of high quality IT Systems, Services, Support and Advice.
• Strategy and Planning - Regionally - The second responsibility will be to strategically align to and support the Regional and Global IT teams objectives and goals. By leveraging and being a part of the Regional and Global Goodyear IT family, you are able to deliver higher quality outcomes, and a lower cost that will comply with all Goodyear policies and procedures thus providing a true win/win outcome.
• Risk Management - Responsible to develop and communicate a clear understanding of any Business and IT Risk within the India business. Additionally, those risks will need to have plans in place to mitigate, along with input and knowledge of the India leadership team to ensure the timelines to remedy, the funding and resources required are all understood and accepted.
• Financial Accountability - Exercise diligent evaluation and careful budgetary management, including budget preparation and ongoing reviews of all expenditure to ensure they are in line with the Finance Directors expectations. Requires the ability to analyse and resolve complex competing issues.
• Project Design, Planning and Delivery - A number of high profile, major business and technology projects are required over the coming years. It is expected this role will be the key stakeholder and owner from within the India IT Team. This role will be the India lead in terms of initiating, designing, collaborating with the broader Goodyear IT family, managing outside Vendors, delivering and project managing these major business initiatives to ensure they drive values, reduce risk and provide expected business / IT benefits as designed.

Required Experiences :

• 10 + years of experience as a similar managerial role
• An excellent understanding of corporate IT infrastructure, architecture, networks, applications, service delivery, and IT governance
• In-depth knowledge of Digital and eCommerce systems, including Web Technologies, Marketing, CRM, fulfillment, Freight Mgmt.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps domains is preferred
• Budgetary, and forecasting responsibility
• Worked with, and managed enterprise wide accounting and ERP systems
• Large Scale, Complex Project design and delivery and relevant project methodologies
• Business Analysis, Strategy and Reengineering
• Demonstrated ability to deliver Business Outcomes, via a strong strategic and business mindset
• Ability to build and develop strong personal and business partnerships from Board level down, including external Vendors
• Manage diversity of opinion, enabling the adoption of ideas where there are conflicting business interests and opinions
• Ability to introduce, lead and manage Organisational and cultural change
• Ability to transform strategic concepts into practical outcomes
• High level customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ideally worked across multiple countries, geographies, and cultural diversities
• Well developed strategy, policy development and problem solving skills

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Good working knowledge of all IT related Systems, Infrastructure, Applications, Networking and Cyber issues
• Experienced at designing, building and delivering world class eCommerce and Digital solutions
• Experience in disciplines such as analytics, data science, IT project management, cloud, solution architecture and delivery.
• Experience implementing technology to support the use of advanced/predictive analytics, big-data, cloud computing environments, to address business requirements.
• Excellent budgeting and accounting knowledge
• SAP or similar enterprise ERP and accounting systems knowledge
• Knowledge of, and ability to deliver Customer Service excellence both internal and externally
• Experience in managing high availability production environments
• Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage and adapt to dynamic changes in priorities, resources and deadlines
• Ability to work strategically as well as tactically
• Excellent written and Verbal skills
• Ability to influence change, and manage conflicting ideas and interest
