Purpose:

• EA Organization is Responsible for overall Enterprise Architecture & governance, and ensure a robust, consistent architecture and data environment aligned to business strategy and value
• Enterprise Architecture Management delivers business value by making value-based technology investments, prioritizing technology delivery, targeting new technologies and insights, enabling collaboration and innovation and delivering quality and consistency
• Drive Dyson EA capability development and architecture governance/Principalership within and across the Dyson architecture domains.
• Accountable for the completeness of the architecture design and the creation/updates to key EA deliverables at a landscape and technical reference model level.
• Support solution development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Business & IT Strategy Leading the creation / evolution of the EA function, including the coordination and integration of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise information systems, data, technical and solution architecture viewpoints.
• Responsible for overall technology architecture and innovation activities, which will deliver the future proof technology landscape / stacks directly creating evidenced business impact.
• Leading the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to service enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements; analysing industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise.
• Ensuring that the optimal governance structure and compliance activities (such as handling waivers) are associated with EA compliance.
• Consulting with program/project teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints.
• Defining organisational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the EA.
• Promoting the EA process, outcomes and results to the organisation, including the eneterprise\'s IT and business leaders; this includes assessing (through appropriate metrics) and Apply Careers at Dyson Sign In Search for jobscommunicating the achievements and impact of the EA, as well as leading the development and execution of an EA communication and education plan.
• Design and prototype platform architectures to enable the future of our business. Partner closely with technology tams to ensure IT delivers the right technology roadmaps, strategies and outcomes that are strategically aligned across our business.
• Responsible for partnering with key business and IT Principalership, Portfolio Managers, and Domain Architecture management Principals for the purpose of setting strategic direction.
• Open source champion for the organisation. Support evaluation of vendors digital platforms, architectures and propose the right solution that best fits customer\'s business requirements.
• Support Business & IT strategy by providing architectural and strategic consulting in the areas of Architectural principles and best practices, adherence to standards etc.

EA Planning; Architecture Vision & Target * Responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of the Enterprise Architecture planning process across all architecture domains at Dyson Accountable for the assembly of an Enterprise Target Architecture and Roadmap

Architecture Governance * Serve as Sr. Principaler for Architecture Governance Serve as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues, significant projects and decisions

Solution Architecture Accountable for assuring the alignment of enterprise architecture to the target by decision and coordination among cross projects and domains

Enterprise Architectural Capabilities & Assets * Accountable for definition of architecture requirements and structure Accountable for the definition and development of principles, guidelines, services, components, tools, standards, assets and frameworks required to support Dyson\'s architecture Provide architectural support to operations and project delivery teams

Performance Management of the Enterprise Architecture * Accountable for defining key indicators of performance for the overall Enterprise Architecture at Dyson Managing the performance of the Enterprise Architecture at Dyson

EA Communication & Awareness * Communication and marketing efforts for EA as well as EA strategy (evangelist) Contribute to and maintain and oversee EA Portal/SharePoint

• Broad understanding across technologies and architecture domains
• Effective Principalership and communication
• Innovative thinking Experience in security by design of platforms preferred.
• BA or Masters degree in software engineering / computer science / MIS / Engineering discipline or extensive working experience
