About Our Client

Our client is an Indian origin omni channel retail brand, the largest service provider in its category for about 7 Mn customers

• Develop IT strategy aligned to business strategy to achieve scaling objectives & lead customer support engineering initiatives to increase client satisfaction
• Lead DevOps team to provide a reliable, secure, highly available platform. Setup frameworks and tools to proactively identify Infra and service issues & proactively resolve security and compliance issues
• Developed site reliability engineering frameworks, IT & Security program. Develop DevOps strategy aligned with Engineering strategy to accelerate product iteration, quality, and security to achieve complete financial automation
• Demonstrated ability in IAM (identify and access management) and DLP (data loss prevention)
• Build the service delivery model by providing cloud, infrastructure management & consulting services.
• Strong hold on reverse engineering & malware analysis along with building complex systems for security intelligence & cyber threat analytics
• Implement secure, scalable and automated infrastructure architectures on Public Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP, etc.). Stay informed and lead the evolution of our continuous delivery systems on AWS. Develop & implement AWS Cost Optimization Program, vendor selection process to onboard vendors to achieve business goals & business continuity processes
• Develop & coordinate roadmaps across security, engineering and IT functions to ensure all goals are in sync and cross department dependencies are managed

The Successful Applicant

• A master degree in engineering (preferably Computer Science)
• Atleast 10-12+ years of experience in working within fast-paced & fast-evolving environment &
• minimum 5+ years of working experience in leading a DevOps & Security team
• AWS Certification in Security. Proven experience in Cloud Platforms - AWS (preferred)/GCP.
• Deep knowledge of security/operations infrastructure including: network infrastructure
• components (routers, firewalls), vulnerability management tools etc.
• Proven experience in Linux systems administration as well as service trouble-shooting skills that
• span applications, systems and network. Strong experience in web application concepts and
• standards
• Experience managing IP based networks, WAN technologies, virtual server technologies, cloud,
• DHCP/DNS, MS Office 365, SAN/NAS storage.
• Demonstrated programming skills in any of Ruby/Python/Java, etc.
• Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code: Ansible/Chef/Salt, Terraform, etc.
• Understanding of Web Frameworks: Rails/Sinatra/Django/Spring etc.
