WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a delivery orientated CTO to build a world-class cloud, infrastructure, Data/AI and engineering platform that enables our 100+ product teams, digital business units and functions to accelerate innovation and their speed of delivery at the heart of our high-growth business. You will be an expert, and thought leader in cloud, data technologies and engineering, able to design and implement secure, performant and scalable platform solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business. You will lead a platform engineering team organized into multiple agile tribes and be responsible for their growth, upskilling and ongoing technical advancement and business development. You will work closely with peers to align to an enterprise vision for platform services across BCG’s internal business functions, with a focus on delivering leading edge platform capabilities at a global enterprise level. You will lead our Secure Infrastructure Platform (SIP) tribe, our Cloud and Platform Engineering (CPE) tribe, our Data/AI technical team and our Cloud Transformation Effort. The SIP tribe is responsible for our Identity access management, secure endpoints, secure data/DLP, Hosting (cloud and data centers), networking products as well as our L1 and L2 operations. The CPE tribe is responsible for our API, CI/CD, Database management, Mobile and Apps framework and our cloud PaaS (SMP) products. The Data/AI tribe is responsible for our enterprise data products, MDM, data governance/catalog and our Data Factory. The cloud transformation initiatives will migrate the remaining internal digital assets (~50%) to the cloud over the next two plus years and close our two remaining data centers. You will be part of the IT Leadership team and work closely with your peers to develop IT’s engineering talent and accelerate our speed and innovation through creation and adoption of the latest platform capabilities. As a senor IT leader, you will also be an important contributor to our overall IT strategy, improving our operating model and attracting and developing digital engineering talent across IT.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• 
  You have exceptional Enterprise platform leadership and delivery for Infrastructure, Cloud and Data/AI capabilities with Digital transformation mindset that aligns to the strategic vision of an agile development delivery model.
• Senior Technical Leadership on modernizing business process with a Digital technical architecture(s) which drives the platform landscape for products and services
• Demonstrated engineering leader that promotes and open system/ diverse and innovated cloud and engineering Platform capabilities; Low Code Platforms (e.g., including RPA/BPM, API & Integrations), and building a cloud SW Engineering Factory model which drives technical impact and influence across a matrix organization
• You can lead/manage (both direct & indirect staff), guide and develop a matrixed engineer cohort and solutions architecture staff under the right engineering operating model (people, process and tools); You have expertise in a multicultural, distributed team model located in different time zones
• You understand the landscape of technology (both existing and emerging) to provide the optimal customer experience to interact with platforms which increases engineering efficiency driving digital product optimization
• Driving technical change with a diverse group of senior stakeholders to understand business problems and surface digital solutions to address those problems. You can think strategically and develop executable plans to achieve the business needs on time and budget.
• You have superior interpersonal skills that drive impact and influence in a heavily matrixed environment. You have demonstrated technical leadership experience with continuously pursuing smaller-scale changes — and then weaving them together to drive technical advancement and outcomes for competitive advantage.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in an internal or external cloud and engineering technology leadership role responsible for driving leading edge technical platforms and delivery excellence through modernization initiatives. Key areas include:

• 
  Expertise with managing/transforming and migrating a Global firm to 100% cloud adoption; experience with integration of cloud provider capabilities and “portability” engineering engines that drive a Cloud Software Factory model.
• 
  Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence technology vision/decisions at senior stakeholder level and across a global organization
• Demonstrated ability to work/manage both Engineering and broader IT teams (direct/indirect) across a global IT organization

YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work and collaborate with the Global CIO, Agile Leaders (Tribe Lead/Tech Area Leads), Global IT Leadership Team, Digital Product Owners and Engineers, Enterprise Architecture and Functional Management as well the broader IT organization to drive, design and influence the Business Intelligence & Analytics journey.
