Stantec is looking for an Electrical Designer who can contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec Resource Net India Private Ltd by providing technical expertise in the Electrical discipline, as part of a multi-disciplinary team working on some of the most challenging and cutting-edge projects around the world. Whether helping to define microgrids, pushing the boundaries on clean energy, or grid modernization The successful candidate must have experience in the areas of Designing of complex electrical distribution projects including large overhead to underground conversions, feeder reconductors, and Smart Grid equipment installation for voltages 69kV and under Key Accountabilities: . Designing of complex electrical distribution projects including large overhead to underground conversions, feeder reconductors, and Smart Grid equipment installation for voltages 69kV and under . Become proficient in multiple client programs . Develop a bill of material required for construction based on client standards . Develop construction prints detailing facilities to be removed/installed. . Develop permit drawings as necessary to accommodate construction. . Review project scope and identify issues early on . Work with the client through the idea-generating stage . Provide QA/QC reviews on projects before submittal to the client . Help team lead train entry-level designers and engineers . Mentor less experienced designers to improve overall team efficiency Title: Electrical designer (Distribution Designer) Qualifications: . Diploma in Electrical Engineering & Designer. . 2-5 years of Transmission and Distribution overhead and underground lines . 2D and 3D Modelling and design experience using Electrical Software applications. o Autodesk Revit o Autodesk AutoCAD o Bentley MicroStation o Autodesk Navisworks will be an added advantage . Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment. . Strong GIS experience . Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering using Revit 3D & 2D Models and MicroStation V8i 2D & 3D Environment, . Knowledge and project experience of Autodesk Navisworks. .
