Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Designer to join our Infrastructure group in Gurugram.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Adhere to and promote the Hatch corporate safety culture.
Be responsible for development and production of 3D models and 2D drawings, deliverables using REVIT 3D in line with project BIM requirements
Assist in the resolution of all technical design / layout issues.
Co-ordinate with other disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Plumbing, HVAC, Architectural etc) through interactions, model coordination / clash detection, design reviews and strives to meet project safety, quality, schedule objectives
Review, check and be responsible for quality of electrical designs performed by self and also of others in the design team, if required.
Perform assigned 3D Revit modeling tasks and develop 3D Revit Model of the project.
Check drawings and models prior to release.
Be responsible of developing SLDs, 2D layouts (equipment, power, lighting, conduit, grounding)
Be responsible for development of termination, wiring and schematic diagrams
Prepare panel, DB, cable, conduit schedules.
Create layout drawings for Electrical systems.
Use Navisworks to find issues, record issues, and verify clash resolution.
Visually verify scope clashes between assigned trade and those of others.
Create project-specific families as needed and follow the project BIM Standards.
Liaise with the internal BIM team to develop and manage modeling and deliverable standards.

You bring to the role:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical drawings and Revit modeling for transit projects.
Good English writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of BIM Template and processes.
Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate Electrical activities between disciplines.
Ability to function with minimal supervision.
Experience on North American Projects will be given preferred.
