Stantec is looking for Electrical Designer who can contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec ResourceNet India Private Ltd by providing technical expertise in Electrical discipline, as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering conceptual design, outline design, detailed design and construction support for Bio-Industrial experience related to Biofuels and Agricultural/food processing sector across Stantec offices. The Electrical Designer role conducts and supports the delivery of complete Electrical detail design drawings associated with energy (power generation / distribution etc.) and industrial (biofuel, food processing and other industrial) plants. Key Accountabilities: . Review the input received from client and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly without changing design intent. . Preparation of Single Line Diagrams, Control schematics, Cable schedules, Panel schedules etc. . Preparation of Basic Plant / Site layouts, Power Plan Layout, Cable tray and trenches layouts, Lighting and Earthing layouts and General arrangement drawings, etc. . Preparation of Cable block diagram, and conduit development drawings. . To be able to understand end-client design and drafting systems and standards implement in work. . Good understanding of the Vendor submittal drawings. . Coordination with other disciplines designers and engineers as applicable. . Coordinate with BIM/CAD Lead concerning project requirements. . Candidate should be able to visualize and produce clash free 3D model using Navisworks/Revit (and similar tools from Bentley suite of software) . Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently. . Good oral and written communication skills. . Commitment to safe work practices. . Should be good team player. . Able to provide input into projects with minimal supervision. Can prioritize work products based on project schedule. Title: Electrical Designer - Energy & Industry Qualifications: . Diploma in Electrical Engineering -OR- I.T.I. Electrical. draftsperson. . For Diploma 4-7 years' experience. If I.T.I. 8+ years' experience. . Electrical Computer Aided Design experience on Bio-Industrial/Water Industry projects. . 2D and 3D Modelling and design experience using Electrical Software applications. o Autodesk Revit o Autodesk AutoCAD o Bentley MicroStation o Bentley BRCM will be an additional advantage . Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment. . Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering using Common Data Environments like Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk BIM 360. . Knowledge and project experience of Autodesk Navisworks. . Should be good team player. . Good oral and written communication skills. . Fully competent in all conventional areas of subject matter or functional area. . Devises new solutions to problems encountered. . Receives guidance for unusual or complex problems. . Good knowledge of other engineering discipline needs and interfaces. . Advanced CAD software skills in support of design. . Full understanding and support in the development of CAD/BIM standards and procedures. . Advanced presentation skills.
