Job Overview: Design and checking of single lines, schematics and wiring diagrams, area classification, grounding, panel/cable schedules, equipment layout, cable layout, tray layout, lighting and installation details without supervision. Review and coordinate electrical 3D model with the other disciplines.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Electrical Designer with experience of 3-20 years in Physical Design in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas sector.
- Experienced in cable tray routing, underground cable routing, grounding & lightning protection, Lighting design etc. Knowledge of lighting calculation, tray / trench sizing calculation etc.
- Experienced in 3D modelling of Cable Route/Lighting/Electrical equipment with PDMS / E3D/ SP3D (S3D)/ PDS, extraction of 2D layout from 3D model and 2D layout with AutoCad / Microstation / Smart Sketch.
- Prior experience as checker/reviewer for electrical design deliverables.
- Knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE and other international codes .
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent or higher.
- Required Skills: PDMS / E3D/ SP3D (S3D)/ PDS, extraction of 2D layout from 3D model and 2D layout with AutoCad / Microstation / Smart Sketch.
