: Ecommerce Manager Position Overview: As an Ecommerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to drive online sales and enhance the overall customer experience for our company\'s digital storefront. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ecommerce operations, including marketplaces and portal management, online marketing, product merchandising, customer service, and data analysis. Your goal will be to optimize the online shopping journey, increase conversion rates, and contribute to the growth of our online business. Role Overview: P&L Management Pasta and Instant noodles combined is an INR 13,000 crore market in India, of which 5-8% is sold online. The 1st metric is to achieve 3% market share by month 24 from today The 2nd metric to track will be the repeat %, which we expect would be 30+% by month 12 from today while achieving a ROAS of 4:1 at the least in the same time period. Lastly, you will need to liaise with the performance marketing agency to ensure the above metrics are tracked weekly and achieved over time. Platform Management & Cataloguing End to end P&L management by platform - whether Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, other innovative platforms - end goal is to achieve a CM2 of +10% to maintain profitable growth. To achieve the performance metrics mentioned above, the brand would need to re-visit its catalogue, brnd page and A+ content across platforms so the consumer experience is optimal and therefore leading to higher conversion rates and lower ACOS with time. Account Management This is a relationship driven business - one needs to liaise with the category, marketing and operations team within Amazon, BigBasket, Flipkart, blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and other platforms on a daily/weekly basis so we can be included in lightning deals, deal of the day, marketing banners, homepage banners and other promotions. Key Responsibilities: Ecommerce Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the company\'s goals and market trends. Identify opportunities for expansion into new online sales channels and markets. Marketplace/Portal Management: Ensure the brand page is user-friendly, visually appealing, and fully functional at all times. Collaborate with marketplace/portal team to enhance UI/UX features, navigation, and performance. Manage product listings, pricing, reviews and ratings and inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability. Online Marketing: Create and execute online marketing campaigns to drive traffic, increase engagement, and promote products. Utilize SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and other digital channels to maximize online visibility. Monitor and optimize online advertising campaigns to achieve desired ROI. Product Merchandising: Curate and organize product assortments to provide a compelling online shopping experience. Optimize product descriptions, images, and placement to drive conversions. Implement cross-selling and upselling strategies to boost average order value. Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues. Monitor customer feedback and reviews to continuously improve the online shopping experience. Implement and manage a streamlined and efficient returns/exchange process. Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, traffic sources, and sales trends. Generate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to address challenges. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, supply chain, and IT to ensure alignment and synergy. Provide guidance and support to ecommerce team members, if applicable. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging ecommerce technologies. Propose innovative ideas and initiatives to stay ahead in the competitive online marketplace. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus. Proven experience (5 years) in ecommerce management, preferably in a managerial role. Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, content management systems, and online marketing strategies. Proficiency in data analysis and ability to draw insights from analytics tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities. Familiarity with web development, UX/UI principles, and SEO best practices. Experience with online advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, blinkit, Amazon, flipkart, BigBasket, and others) is advantageous.
