Job Description


  • The Director of Transformation will help drive several of our strategic transformation initiatives across our working capital management, including lead to cash (cash in transformation), requisition to pay and source to pay (cash out transformation), ERP implementation (SAP/Oracle) to cloud based offering that is agile, and integrated with sales and order management systems.
  • The transformation lead will work closely with senior executives, operational excellence and program management teams to understand and shape the transformation vision and break down to relevant actions for Finance Services Operations.
  • The lead will act as process expert as part of the core teams working across group wide organizations and represent Finance Services Operations
  • The lead will guide and facilitate the ERP core implementation team and track the implementation, rollout and execution of the finance service operations modules
  • The lead will facilitate and drive the various phases of ERP implementation including design, testing (UAT, system testing), pilot rollout, global rollout, training of operations teams, awareness campaigns across finance services operations.
  • The lead will ensure that the strategic priorities including but not limited to ERP implementation are trackable, hold the operations team accountable and provide regular updates, call for action and help needed to the FSO leadership team
  • The lead will report into the FSO head and work closely with all functional leaders across collections, billing, cash operations, accounts payable, sales compensation and controls and compliance teams.
  • Leads cross-functional and regional / global initiatives.
  • Ability to Influences up to the executive level and across organization
  • Deep knowledge of ERP systems (both SAP and Oracle) and working knowledge of key functionalities across AR and AP modules (Collections, cash applications, billing, accounts payable, sales compensation)
  • Self driven and strong communication skills
  • Should be organized and able to manage multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Ability to work with tight timelines and manage conflicts well
  • Experience of leading ERP installations across large multinational organizations and proven track record of successful rollout and sustainability.
  • Ability to identify operational, process, policy and tool improvement opportunities and guide the operational teams through continuous transformation journey
  • Ability to coach and guide subject matter experts on identifying, owning and solving improvement opportunities
  • Ability to understand and articulate the impact of improvement opportunities across various operational, financial, people metrics using a balanced score card approach
  • Project management certification is a plus
  • Should be able to lead a team of seasoned transformation leads and guide across eCommerce, lead to cash and source to pay initiatives.
  • Ability to create and guide business case development, provide alternatives based on facts and provide recommendations to executives, operations leaders and process owners
  • Should have customer first mindset to help drive transformation that enables our customers to self serve, provide world class experience while meeting or exceeding our DSO / GSO objectives and financial and operational commitments
  • Decision owner for phase exit go/no-go. Ensures proper cross-functional approvals are obtained. Maintains processes/tools for reporting program status.
  • Maintains processes/tools for archiving auditable program documents.
  • Where applicable, ensures Program Managers and Project Managers are effectively collaborating with Sales and customers on customer- facing programs and executing to customer expectations. Drives decision making process
  • Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group. Responsible for hiring, staffing and development of a diverse and effective workforce.
  • Receives and acts upon escalations from Program Managers and other core team members. Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of direct team members. Leads resolution of complex cross functional escalations.
