Key Tasks:

*Design of marketing materials in liaison with the Marketing Department and Marketing Design Team. To include, but not limited to: adverts; posters; flyers; brochures; online graphics; conference graphics/materials; multi channel campaigns.
*Creation of template based promotion material for different Springer Nature sub brands according to design guides
*Acting as brand guardian to ensure consistency across materials, providing advice and explanation to marketing colleagues as necessary.
*Scheduling of own diary to ensure punctual delivery.
*Liaising with Process Team to ensure correct workflow and archiving processes are followed.
*Preparing print-ready artwork.
*Preparing graphics for online/screen use and supplying to relevant teams.
*Providing assistance and cover within the Design Coordination team as required.
*Generating layouts using InDesign automation.

*Design Coordinators.
*Designers / Marketing Design Team colleagues.
*Marketing Departments to ensure materials are supplied for promotional use in a timely manner.
*Marketing Services colleagues to ensure efficient production of projects.

Qualification:

*Degree/equivalent in Graphic Design.
*3-4 years of relevant experience

Skill:

*Strong user of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
*Detailed knowledge in Adobe InDesign Template creation and automation through XML based workflow.
*Strong creative skills
*Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
*Confident IT user
*Sound knowledge of pre-press
*Ability to multi-task and work to deadline
*Strong team worker

Desirable:

*Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
*Attention to detail
*Basic knowledge in HTML 5 for banner ads creation
