Deputy Manager - Closing sales
Overview: The role focuses on sales closures and converting prospective walk-ins to customers. The role requires excellent social skills and communication skills while dealing with varied audiences. The closing sales role involves rigorous follow up with prospects and keeping a healthy sales funnel intact. Business contribution expected: 30 Cr Annually.
KRA's:
- Understanding customer requirements and showcase product fitment
- Developing a pipeline of warm and hot prospects week on week
- To be completely abreast with the product knowledge & sales process
- Take ownership of all the leads & religiously follow them for desired closure
- To maintain a sales calendar for all events & activities planned during the month
- To keep thoroughly abreast with competition & their activities including current pricing, offers, special features of the project & any other relevant information helpful for sales
- Auditory compliance for company standards and correct representation; sales hygiene
KPI's:
- Conversion ratio of customers attended to booked
- Customer revisit rate
- Customer satisfaction score through surveys
- Business Contribution & Consistency
- Target vs Achievement
Skillset/Key traits:
The role requires the candidate to be skilled at understanding customer requirements and providing the right product. Previous roles in B2B sales or in depth customer understanding are ideal candidates.
- Candidates are welcome from all B2B sales industries including Machinery/BFSI/Software/Telecom
- Strong communication skills. Excellent grooming
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Sound knowledge in MS office
- Ability to work with sales pressure
