We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery Head:

In this role, you will:

Delivery Head would be responsible for end to end delivery of key cloud and data management programs that have stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones and ensure deliveries are on time, within the budget with right quality which are aligned with GDT architecture and organizational goals

Principal Accountabilities:

• Should be able to handle large technology transformation programs with immense knowledge on cloud and data management platforms
• Ability to set the strategic direction for the teams and think outside box
• Lead design discussions and assist the team in deciding most appropriate approach
• Experience in problem solving including complex engineering challenges, application performance, security and help identify solution for complex issues by performing POC's
• Work Closely with business stakeholders, understand the requirement and work on solutions
• Identify automation opportunities and implement them
• Become a servant leader and coach which helps Agile teams to deliver the maximum business value that is achievable through the Agile TOM
• Responsible to implement Group data standards and HTI standards in all the needs of stakeholders
• Must have good knowledge on Engineering best practices and various design principles
• Support the establishment and management of appropriate monitoring, governance and maintenance activities
• To be flexible and adaptable in an environment of constantly changing priorities while staying true to the objectives of the Data Services portfolio delivery
• Creating a true sense of urgency, pace, high performance and collaboration across different communities while delivering complex change initiatives
• Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively.
• Work across geographies, understanding the diversity and bringing people together.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Ability to Manage a diverse and complex delivery that is continually altering in scope and focus
• Strong knowledge in Google cloud technologies like BigQuery, Cloud SQL and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge in R/Python is an added advantage.
• Experience in micro services and building APIs
• Experience in building/leading large teams of managers, leads and developers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across geographies and work with Senior levels in the organization
• Technical background with a deep understanding of Google Cloud, Bigquery, modern Technical Architecture and DevOps practices
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
• Cloud Migration Strategy and Execution
• Further embed Agile and DevOps practices across our development pods
• Ensure we have metrics to allow us to measure productivity and areas of improvement across our development pods.
• Work in conjunction with Architecture, Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering to ensure seamless delivery and integrated technical strategies
• Ensure all risk controls are fully in place and adhere to HSBC standards
• Up to date knowledge and practical experience of various programing languages, frameworks, cloud services, toolkits and methodologies.
• Knowledge on data controls that needs to be implemented.
