Customer Success Specialist Location: Pune, India

The Customer Success Specialist is a skilled scientist with strong clinical genomics knowledge who serves as the project manager, trusted advisor, and key point of contact for deploying new assays on the Pierian platform for new and existing clients. You will partner with a Pierian Clinical Genomics Director to understand client needs, guide the client to define clear requirements consistent with Pierian business objectives, then create and execute an implementation plan with support from the Pierian Clinical Genomics Director and Pierian technical operations team. Implementations often encompass IT integration, clinical NGS pipeline and report development, training, and clinical validation support. You will be responsible for coordination of client and Pierian efforts on these fronts, for keeping project timelines on track, and for communication of progress and risks to operations team leadership.

What will you do?

• Coordinate technical and medical resources from Pierian and client institutions to implement Pierian’s clinical genomics software platform for client laboratories
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to client institutions, particularly those new to NGS
• Take ownership of implementation project timelines and deliverables to mitigate risk to revenue targets; communicate progress, risks, and delays to the implementation and commercial teams
• Contribute to product development based on client feedback and understanding of user workflows

• Bachelors or Master’s (preferred) in natural sciences; genetics, computational biology/bioinformatics or other life sciences; or Bachelor’s with strong industry experience.
• 2 yrs experience in genetics or genomics and next generation sequencing or other molecular genetic approaches, including involvement in wet lab work, genomic assay design, and bioinformatics. Experience in a clinical genomics laboratory and understanding of bioinformatic nucleic acid sequence analysis approaches preferred. Experience as a lab manager or supervisor preferred.
• Preferred previous experience in project management.
