Build loads/set appointments in appropriate programs (TMS, TMW, FM).
Enter all necessary and accurate information to ensure data integrity.
Track and trace for on time pickups and deliveries and update TMS. Provide discretion in resetting appointments.
Set pick-up and delivery appointments with warehouses.
Communicate with internal and external groups, especially on high priority loads and clients.
Proactively provide tracking updates to clients and warehouses.
Prioritize tracking and appointment setting based on time constraints and client priority.
Conduct client interactions via email and phone contact.
Communicate directions for each new client and enter precisely in the system.
Build and maintain client relationships and improve client retention.
Acquire and retain knowledge of each client\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
Assist clients with any special needs (trailer type, bracing, pads, etc.).
Effectively monitor all loads assigned for the designated client account from start to finish.
Secure and present all necessary information needed to execute logistical plans as determined by the client.
Document all special service requirements of clients and warehouses.
Maintain daily reporting.
Manage and document all unplanned accessorial charge issues related to the client and related warehouses.
Represent the client when working with contracted carriers.
Identify and communicate ways the company can continuously improve in its operations.
Experience:
Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience preferred (1-2 years in a Canadian or US- Canadian logistics company will be prioritized).
Prior client service or chat process experience required.
Ability to type 30-40 words per minute.
Knowledge of TMS or other relevant logistics software.
MS Outlook proficient and familiar with other MS apps.
Ability to work well under stress and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Native fluency in the English language, verbal as well as written. No regional accents.
Knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution techniques will be given priority.
