Build your career with us and apply today. #MadeForGreater AND Principal Responsibilities The IT team, within Northern Trust, is looking for a Training Coordinator to support the global IT L&D team. The dynamic nature of the Technology world requires an equally dynamic, agile IT L&D team. The Training Coordinator is a critical addition to the global IT L&D team aimed at ensuring smooth-running learning programs and coordination among various stakeholders, accurate reporting, able management of the NT University and other learning platforms. In short, the role directly impacts the global IT L&D team’s ability to deliver the desired stakeholder learning experience. Reporting into the Global IT L&D Practice Lead, the Training Coordinator will be responsible for the following activities. This is a not an exhaustive list. Given the dynamic nature of stakeholder needs the list may change.

  • Monitor the IT L&D mailbox and action appropriate items
  • Liaise with external learning platform SPOCs for learning data and patterns
  • Create classes on Northern Trust University, manage learning program-related communication, maintain learner attendance reports
  • Collate nominations
  • Collate and calculate Learning Metrics as needed
  • Monitor the usage of the learning platforms
  • Create and run surveys and manage the associated data
  • Prepare status reports
  • Draft IT Hub – IT L&D article nuggets
  • Support maintenance of the IT L&D digital site
  • Collate and publish Quarterly training calendar


Experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-8 years of similar experience, exposure to Saba or any LMS will be a plus

Required Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, high ownership, ability to learn quickly, connect and collaborate with ease (with even global stakeholders when needed)
  • Willingness to learn new tools and develop a deep knowledge and understanding
  • Proficient in using Excel
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Strong team player who can work with a diverse team
  • Ability to meet deadlines through strong planning, coordination and follow-up
  • Demonstrated skill in handling multiple concurrent initiatives and adjusting quickly to shifting priorities
