Summary Ownership, design, expert support for the broad range of Compensation activities and services. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. This role will provide analytical and compensation consultation support in the U.S. and Canada for GE Healthcare. This role will support in the design, implementation, communication and administration of competitive compensation programs that align with the business plans, goals and objectives of our clients. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide design, delivery and expertise in compensation, as well as any corresponding compliance requirements, systems and tools. Provide consultation & advice on compensation for assigned business. Review and advise on off-cycle pay increases & promotions. Provide compensation analysis and support for various populations. Create innovative ways to deliver compensation education, analysis and products. Support annual salary, and incentive planning processes for the assigned business, region or client group. Review and assess internal pay competitiveness across business functions and levels. Conduct internal job audits & data clean up processes to drive consistency across the business. Execute policies and procedures related to pay practices. Provide support for any compensation related litigation or regulation compliance. Participate in industry specific salary surveys and provide analysis on survey data as assigned. Assist the assigned business or client group in tracking and analyzing compensation spend. Monitor and review changes in compensation laws and regulations periodically reviews programs and processes for compliance. Support the management of variable incentive compensation programs. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in a human resources or compensation position). At least 3 additional years of experience in compensation or in HR with functional knowledge of compensation concepts, systems, and administration. At least 2 years experience in a role requiring compensation regulatory knowledge (e.g., FLSA, OFCCP compliance, etc.). Demonstrated PC skills including MS Office and strong database skills (Excel). Demonstrated analytical & quantitative skills. Demonstrated experience in compensation program/process management. Demonstrated ability to work in complex, matrixed, goal-driven organizations, with a track record of working effectively with all levels of management. Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated to have strong oral and written communication skills. Desired Characteristics: Bachelor\'s degree in business, Finance or Human Resources is preferred. 5 years\' experience across a wide range of HR practices (including application of compensation analysis and philosophies, job analysis, hiring and promotion practices and related regulations). Executive compensation experience. Sales compensation experience. Union/Non-exempt compensation consultation. Experience working and influencing in a remote environment.
