Who Are We?

is a Boston-based venture capital firm focused on helping build the future of healthcare delivery. Founded by serial technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist Sunil Wadhwani, W Health invests in and incubates early-stage companies that address critical unmet healthcare needs leveraging technology and AI in the US and India.

We are creating a "Venture Studio" for Digital Health - an innovation platform that builds transformative healthcare companies from scratch by discovering disruptive opportunities in healthcare. Distinct from the venture capital and accelerator approach, our venture studio will be closely involved in idea generation, day-to-day operations, and strategic decisions of growing the new business.

Role Overview

Act as a defacto \xe2\x80\x9cCBO\xe2\x80\x9d to setup revenue lines of the new venture launches by W Health Studio. The role involves working hand-in-hand with CXOs and Studio Leader and fellow Chief of Staff\'s to execute 0 to 1 charter.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Set Up revenue function from scratch

  • Online Demand Generation and Conversions
  • Champion consumer insights
  • Collaborate central marketing functions to generate online demand
  • Set Up (Hire, Train, Conduct Operations, achieve targets ) sales function
  • Offline Demand Generation and Conversions
  • Identify Hero sales channel (e.g., Dr. referrals, B2B partnerships etc.)
  • Set Up (Hire, Train, Conduct Operations, achieve targets ) offline sales team
  • Execute offline marketing and PR activities
2. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work with Product Head/Product managers to build CRM, CLM, and other revenue generating micro products
  • Work with Marketing team to co-design marketing campaigns and co-own the outcomes/ROI
  • Work with Finance and HR SPOCs to ensure disciplined administration of the business
3. Clinical Aptitude
  • Ability to liaise with Doctors, Medical Directors
  • Ability to understand scientific content and literature (with the help of in-house medical research and writing team)
  • Arrive at key consumer<> business insights and utilize them across relevant projects (marketing communications, B2B collaterals, training, sales pitches etc.)
Requirements * Previous experience (min 3-5 years) in setting up or leading revenue and operations functions in 0 to 1/1 to 10 early-stage startup environments. (Mandatory)
  • Previous experience in driving/co-driving demand working closely with the marketing function. (Not Mandatory, but preferable)
  • Previous Healthcare experience is a big plus
  • MBA from Tier 1 college is a plus
  • A sharp executioner who can break down ambiguity into smaller constructs and problem solve
  • Values depth & insights and man manages/differentiate between breath/execution tasks and depth/insights and discovery tasks and deal with them with merit
  • A very strong team player who can collaborate well across functions, leadership, and sub-cultures
  • Have an intrinsic love for numbers/targets
