About Commercial Banking & Wholesale Lending Services At JPMorgan Chase, Commercial Banking ("CB") serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. CB is comprised of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries, Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries, Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking.

Business Banking ("BB"), a division of Consumer and Community Banking, provides deposit, credit, and cash management services to companies with up to approximately $20 million in annual revenue.

Asset & Wealth Management serves institutional, ultra-high net worth, high net worth and individual clients through its Asset Management and Wealth Management ("WM") businesses. Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking Global Services organization and provides loan servicing functions to all four JPMorgan lines of business. These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndication loan and trade processing, credit administration and collateral perfection and management. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence

  • Focus on team deliverables and expected performance levels to achieve targeted objectives and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Supervision & assessing work allocation, identifying areas of capacity globally during day
  • Monitoring of break items / aged items highlighted through DLO reporting/NOSTROS/ and analytical reporting
  • Ensuring all controls and JP Morgan requirements are adhered to at all times and any risk items escalated immediately
  • Comply with audit and compliance regulations and be the focal point for audit visits
  • Update of SOP's and SLA's and monitoring to ensure adherence to them by all staff
  • Focal point for all staff and client queries both internally and externally
  • Implement strategy and core objectives for the team in line with the global operations roadmap
  • Maintain high levels of engagement with the Lenders, Credit executives/Underwriters, Client service executives and Bankers
  • Manage partnerships by working closely with cross functional stakeholders across the firm.
  • Drive the team to maintain 100% client satisfaction that is received through i Survey scores
  • Be an SME in the process and understand the upstream and downstream process
  • The person will be involved in key projects related to process re-engineering, designing new functionalities, end user testing and training.
  • In addition the Team Lead Supervisor is also expected to protect the clients' and Banks' interests at all times and ensure that their integrity is maintained within the market place. To ensure department procedures are maintained and internal processes can adapt to market/client demands. To maintain optimum service level for all clients ensuring any reasons for and proposed solutions to, negative trends are documented and escalated.

  • Ability to identify changes to processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience, preferably in Banking/Mortgage/Financial Analysis and Loan Operations
  • Candidate should be open to work in night shifts
  • Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and across levels
  • Supervisory experience in managing complex process with minimum supervision and independently make the decisions related to the process
  • Preferable knowledge on aspects of Financial Statements, MIS reporting, Credit Agreement and other loan documents
  • ACBS/VLS/LIQ servicing system knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrate the attributes of flexibility and accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in team environment
