We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated, and conscientious Business Manager to work on expanding our business in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on marketing/medical team suite/CSR. This role will manage and deliver new business from the specified segment and collaborate closely with marketing and sales leaders. Prior Business Development expertise in Medical Communications, Medical Publishing, or the Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred.
As a Business Manager (Special Projects) in the pharmaceutical industry, your responsibilities would include:

  • Work as a partner/consultant with pharma marketers and their medical teams to address their marketing challenges regarding the delivery of scientific communication tools to their doctors/key opinion leaders.
  • Create Indian Pharma-specific offerings from existing Taylor & Francis content and sell them to pharmaceutical company marketing departments. The offerings consist of Journal Reprints, a Collection of Articles on Various Therapy Areas, and Custom Medical Communication derived from current content.
  • Should have Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry\'s clientele and be keen to network with them to generate revenue.
  • Responsible for conceptualizing and selling new products
  • Bring in new Pharma clients while fostering relationships with current Taylor & Francis clients.
  • Establishing strong client relationships and generating revenue growth
  • To devise a strategic plan to meet assigned business targets from the Pharma Industry segment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customized offerings, business proposals, client meetings, requirements generation, and negotiations with external stakeholders.


Qualifications
  • Lifesciences or Medical Sciences background preferable, or relevant expertise in Sales and Business Development of Medical Communication, Publishing, and CME products for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Energetic and Self-Motivated Individual with the ability to identify potential Pharma clients for publishing products and cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders of varying hierarchical levels.
  • Should have worked closely with at least two to three of India\'s major pharmaceutical clients and should be confident in bringing in business for the year from these clients.
