To identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients or partners to drive growth and revenue for Hi-Tech Pipes. JOB DESCRIPTION Here are some key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the role of a business development officer: 1) Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging markets. 2) Lead Generation : Identifying and prospecting potential clients or partners through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, trade shows, online platforms, and referrals. 3) Relationship Building: Developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in target organizations. This involves networking, attending industry events, and conducting meetings to understand their needs and explore collaboration opportunities. 4) Proposal Development: Creating persuasive business proposals, presentations, and pitches to showcase the value proposition of your organization s products or services. Tailoring proposals to meet the specific needs of potential clients and addressing their pain points effectively. 5) Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiating terms, contracts, and pricing structures with potential clients or partners. Working closely with the legal and finance departments to ensure compliance and finalizing agreements. 6) Collaboration with Internal Teams : Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to align business development efforts with organizational goals. Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on client requirements and provide excellent customer service. 7 ) Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing business development metrics, such as sales pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue generated. Using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategies for improved results. 7) Market Expansion : Identifying opportunities for expanding into new markets, both domestically and internationally. Assessing market potential, conducting feasibility studies, and developing market entry strategies. 8) Industry Knowledge and Trends : Staying updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization s business. Continuously learning and adapting to ensure competitiveness and innovation. 9) Relationship Management: Maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients or partners to foster loyalty and repeat business. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Candidate should be Graduate with a proven track record of 5-6 years in Steel Pipes and Tube market. Must be up to date and report information of market trends, new developing markets, competitor activity, price trends etc. Skills : Adaptability, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset Must be an intelligent, self motivated and result oriented individual with a persuasive and positive outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Formal presentation skills. Organization and planning. Strategic thinking.
