: Job Title: Beverage Director Function: F&B Service Location: Lonavala, Maharashtra, India Major account-abilities of the position: 1. Excellent organizational skills be able to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail 2. Excellent knowledge of all beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform these duties 3. Effective listening abilities and be able to make strong judgment calls 4. Strong overall knowledge of beverage preparation and presentation 5. Able to lead and mentor a team 6. Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and other outside contacts 7. Strong written and verbal communication skills 8. Excellent customer service skills 9. Ability to establish guidelines for proper staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs 10. Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms Duties and Responsibilities 1. To ensure that the Bar areas of the property managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times 2. Oversee development, interpretation and implementation of hotel policies, operating procedures and training programs, manuals, directives, menus, work schedules, rules and regulations for the beverage staff and personnel 3. Work closely with local, state and governmental organizations in maintaining highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness with in all areas of Beverage. 4. Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors 5. Oversee Human Resources responsibilities for direct reports, which includes making hiring/termination decisions, issue commendations and disciplinary action, develop and coach employees, and creating a work environment that promotes teamwork and adheres to company practices, policies, and commitment to diversity 6. Create and manage proper policies and procedures for Manager comps and voids 7. Support the Team in the development and implementation of the strategic plan and vision for the beverage department consistent with the company\'s objectives 8. Maximize sales by creating signature drinks/cocktails/mock-tails 9. Drive profits, manage labor and control costs 10. Review/analyze data to address areas of concerns and make changes to procedures and operation to sustain growth Experience and qualifications required for the job: 9-10 years with at-least 1-2 years of experience in the same role with good luxury brands Minimum Qualification: Hotel Management Graduate Minimum Job Experience: 9-10 years with at least 1-2 years of experience in the same role with good luxury brands Reporting to: COO Travel: N/A
