Responsibilities
Processes
Lead the operational process and support on system aspects of Group Corporate Planning, Budgeting Restatement, Target setting and Forecasting processes
Build and leverage SME expertise to drive change and support the leadership in delivering the key change agenda.
Lead and deliver on the Outlook process and drive automation to streamline the process.
Lead and engage on re-engineering existing process / identifying and scoping potential automation and efficiency opportunities
Provide thought leadership and leverage process/domain expertise to lead process reengineering and change initiatives opportunities.
Support reporting and analysis team for Group Planning outcomes and ad-hoc senior management requests
Partner with Global Process Managers and leaders to design and implement Standard Global Processes across all areas of planning and track implementation effectiveness and gaps on a continued basis
Develop key people management and stakeholder management skills to move into People Manager / SME roles
Engage and influence Finance stakeholders with continuous focus on \xe2\x80\x9cBig Picture\xe2\x80\x9d and enable the decision support in line with Group FP&A strategy

Qualifications
Chartered Accountant or MBA with 8-12 years of relevant finance experience in Planning activities.
Expert process management and reengineering skill set, including experience of leading system and process change initiatives
Significant subject matter understanding & experience of planning, performance analysis & financial statements, within large multinational companies in the financial services sector Specific experience in running the planning processes (or equivalent) of a complex multinational banking Group.
Substantial experience of banking, depth and breadth of knowledge in processes especially in the areas of Planning and Management accounting and related processes
Experience in operating within large virtual teams and relationships across a complex network of stakeholders including senior management
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Strong Senior stakeholder management experience including interfacing and influencing
Strong strategic mindset coupled with a thorough understanding of Planning processes in Banking Industry to be an \xe2\x80\x98agent of change\xe2\x80\x99.
A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations
Have an excellent Systems skills (preferable planning systems), communication, analytical and decision-making skills. A strong self-starter with natural intellectual curiosity
