Description: Purpose of Role :
1. Knowledge of Exim Policy, Incoterms, Payment Terms, UCP Rules
2. Conversant with Customs Rules and regulation for import & export
3. knowledge of the International Logistic & transportation industry.
4. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods
5. Conversant with handling of Hazardous cargo shipment.
6. Complete knowledge of export-import shipment process ( Air, rail, Ocean)

Qualification :
Any Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma - Foreign Trade or International Business management or EXIM or Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations.
Specific or Additional Certifications (if Any) required :
Preferably Industry experience from Chemical or Pharma Manufacturing background with more than 500 container every month.

Responsibility



Process/ Operation

Responsible for complete export shipment planning process as per incoterms and customer orders - right from cargo readiness to shipment till delivery and Bills of Lading release - from multiple loading ports in India and carriers or service providers.


. Achieving Monthly export dispatch targets - from multiple manufacturing plants in India

• Follow up - with shipping companies and forwarding agents for bookings
• Follow up - with forwarding agent and CHA's for timely gate in the port and advance loading list send to shipping co.
• Responsible for timely updation of shipment status in SAP.
• Compliance to HAZMAT, IMDG, regulations.
• Coordination with CHAs, transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, third party inspection agencies.
• Resolution of issues related to shipments with customs, shipping lines, CFS, other allied agencies.
• Responsible for MIS reporting.
• Ensure export/import laws and regulations in the importing ports at respective destination countries are adhered to.
• Responsible for KPIs related to timely delivery and shipment costs.
• Provide advance container volume forecast to shipping lines, CHA, Transporters.

People/ Team Management

Team Manager - motivating team for smooth execution of export shipments. Good Team player



Financial

Comply on receipt of Bill of Lading from forwarder/shipping line, controlling Vehicle detention at plant, Container diversion and rejection



Customer

Coordination with Customer service teams for shipment updation to customers. Coordination with planners , dispatch teams, QC teams at plants.
