Generating final audit reports for internal and regulatory agency review and conducting thorough follow-up audits on previously identified issues. Advising clients on areas outside of GAAP and tax e.g., selling the business, bank financing, etc. Makes sound decisions regarding complex accounting issues and accounting discrepancies and takes action (particularly under time pressure and non-routine situations). Establishes a reputation in the Firm for industry/niche expertise; has understanding of key industry specific issues and trends. Discusses current trends and upcoming issues with client, demonstrating industry specific knowledge. Builds a positive working relationship with clients and Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners from other offices. Seeks feedback from client and Senior Managers, Directors and Partners from other offices on their level of satisfaction with our work and shares that information with team. Manages and shapes client expectations (engagement team expectations from other offices), as appropriate. Leverages external and internal networks to develop new business and executes a business development/marketing plan. Leverages internal and external networks to develop opportunities for right-shoring and executes a right-shoring business development/ marketing plan. Looks for ways to network our clients with each other. Proactively seeks to understand the client\'s goals in order to identify ways the Firm can provide more value. Prepares or assists in proposal process. Organizes/designs/leads local & across office staff trainings/Lunch and Learns, EAU programs & updates. Seeks volunteer leadership positions in internal or external groups or organizations, including ICAI, etc. Puts together a business case around career and advancement. Vested in team and Coachee\'s success. Manages engagement to budget for maximum profitability. Manage billing and collections on a timely basis; includes out of scope services to be billed. Proactively considers client changes and the impact on resources. Builds effective relationships with colleagues across the Firm to gain exposure to other departments/industries and to gather information for team decision making. Actively involved with practice management by enhancing reputation and brand of the firm through publication of articles or presentations at professional associations and industry groups. Leverages external and internal networks to develop new business and new opportunities for right-shoring. Looks for ways to add value outside of Audit services. \'Go to\' person internally for industry niche or expertise in Tax or Accounting. (Talk with TM about this one). Effectively acts as a \'connector\' for getting prospects together with the right professionals. Develops a networking plan and executes on it. Develops a right-shoring plan for new opportunities and executes it.
