Job Location: Mumbai / Bangalore
Reports To : GM-Quality Assurance Sr. Manager _Quality Assurance :
As part of the team heading Quality under the 3 group companies, you will be reporting to the GM at the group level. You will play a key role in bringing about Quality excellence in core areas of Evolute group - driving transformation, building capabilities and driving agility. This role should be at the forefront of bringing in operational excellence to be organisation.


The opportunity:
The position is on a Senior Manager category. The candidate should have handled leadership roles prior than this in line with respect to Quality and transformational initiatives. It is a fantastic opportunity to lead a multi-business organisation front-end by bringing about change in quality , adapting to new digital agenda, hinge onto new technologies and lead people towards quality excellence.


Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic responsibilities: -

  • Responsible for driving QA strategy, approach, and execution in development projects.
  • Implement and manage Quality Management Systems
  • Responsible for department and cross functional department training.
  • Build a long-term vision for the organization in terms of quality across the different groups
  • Facilitate the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework. Driving and improving the QA and QC team in core .
  • Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.



2. Functional responsibilities: -
  • Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
  • Monitor all operations that affect quality
  • Monitor all operations that affect quality
  • Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
  • Appraise customers' requirements and make sure they are satisfied
  • Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
  • Review current standards and policies
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
  • Ensure all legal standards are met
  • Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
  • Approval of the vendor or supplier of the materials as per the SOP.
  • To ensure timely review and revision of SOPs of all the departments and its issuance and retrieval as well maintenance of master SOPs, to ensure effective compliance of SOP management.
  • To Conduct self-inspection as a lead auditor as per the procedure. Monitor the effective execution of self-inspection and suggest the CAPA to the audit findings.



To qualify for the role, you must have: -
  • Engineering degree (Electronics OR Equivalent degree) +MBA with 10-12 years of exp in electronic manufacturing industry
  • Proven work experience as Manager/Sr. Manager Role in Quality Assurance and Control
  • Experience building and managing high performing Quality Assurance and Quality control team .
  • Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company's QA processes and strategies.
  • Experience in implementing the ISO 9001/9000, Total Quality Management processes and certifications
  • Competence to influence a group of individuals to become followers in the achievement of Quality goals
  • Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based Testing.
