Along with our established client-server products, we are now focusing on the development of cloud-based mapping and analytics micro-services for our utilities and telecoms customers.

As a Sr Manager Quality Assurance Engineering working for Portfolio of Product Development teams, you will work closely with your peers in fast-paced global Agile development teams.

Responsible for delivering QA test capabilities and talent for a portfolio of products with focus on transforming the QA teams capabilities in areas of Dev Ops, Automation, non-functional testing and ensuring most efficient test plans and coverage to deliver innovative software solutions.



Key aspects of the role will include, but are not limited to:

Delivering Testing across portfolio of products with holistic consideration for resources, environments, and tools.

Responsible for ensuring quality release delivery of all portfolio releases.

Strong test transformational experience from legacy desktop to Web/Mobile products in cloud platforms and building talent / QA capabilities.

Strong Test Partner management experience to ensure quality and on time delivery of test services.

Overall expertise in Test Management, Test Environment Management & Coordination with good inclination towards technology.

Responsible to manage planning of testing, coverage till actual release in collaboration with Release and Product managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Partner Resources.

Ensure efficient definition and management of test environments and test data for Sprint and Release regression activities

Measure and report test KPIs and ensure mitigation plans are put in place for ongoing improvement.

Ability to work independently with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility against business priorities.

Hiring, nurturing of QA resources globally, including direct line and performance management.

Ensure reusable test automation frameworks are developed and that they are reliable, robust, and resilient along with deployability with in Engineering and Service environments

Responsible for on-going development of testing processes and implementation of testing best practice.

Act as deputy as and when required.

To undertake team 1:1s to identify and implement business objective, personal development plans and training needs for the team (able to manage 8+ resource)

Grows talent depth and breadth in alignment with organizational needs.

Technical Skills:

Technical Test Management experience with proven ability to building and delivering QA test capabilities and talent for a portfolio of products.

Strong experience in test strategies, planning holistic test approaches, functional, non-functional (Performance, Load, Concurrency, Resiliency, Security, Scalability) test expertise along with bringing test efficiencies through automation development planning, preparation, coding, testing, execution, and reporting.

Passion for E2E testing (thinking like a customer), Automated Testing, Testing Best Practice, building high performing teams and collaboration.

Commitment to following and championing Agile.

Strong experience in technical testing of various Desktop, Web, and Mobile applications with proven ability to lead all areas of testing with hands on experience of test automation and non-functional testing.

Strong experience some of the test tools e.g. WebdriverIO , Katalon, Kobiton, SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest

Strong experience of Unix, Linux and windows platforms

Strong experience of Kubernetes and Docker

Experience of TDD (test-driven development) and BDD

Experience of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.

Education Qualification

Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or \xe2\x80\x9cSTEM\xe2\x80\x9d Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 10 years

ISTQB Advanced or other test qualifications.

Business Acumen:

Ability to directly line manage small to medium global teams

Ability in transforming the QA teams capabilities in areas of Automation, non-functional testing

Ability to architect E2E test resource, coverage plans, identifies and removes obstacles on behalf of the team

Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill.

Personal Attributes:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity

Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility

Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members. Shows ability to effectively delegate work
