About the Customer Company is a leading developer of hotels in the Indian hospitality sector. The company works in the field of hotel development, ownership and asset management in India and Nepal. About the Role Designation : Asst Manager / Manager : QS MEP : Responsible for taking-off quantities for different items of All MEP services (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing &; FF), Piping and Fittings, Pumps, HVAC Materials, Electrical Panel Boards, Water System Assemblies, etc. Study the specifications, Tender drawings, Construction Drawings &; As Built Drawings of the projects to take-off the quantities. Preparation of Rate Analysis. Cross checking Job Order BOQ with Job Order Completion BOQ. Checking Interim Payment Certificates to verify executed quantities and claimed amount. Checking, negotiating and approving revised BOQ. Checking and Verifying the merit of Change Request, Variation Orders and EoT claims. Participating in meeting with Contractor and PMC, on instructions of Sr. QS and taking minutes of meetings. Checking and verifying IR &; Document Submittal Quantity and then getting it approved by Sr. QS in consultation with the PMC. Assessing Cost evaluation, Cost estimation &; cost control. Preparing Progress &; cost report for all projects Monitoring NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and RFI (Request for Information) for Infrastructure and MEP work. Preparing the Interim Payment Certificates and submitting to the Consultant for certification. Preparing Change Request and based on Site Engineers/Manager\'s instructions and submitting to the Consultant for approval. Consulting engineers of all disciplines to take details for preparing Variation Orders. Involved in preparing and reviewing subcontract RFPs for sub-contractors (finding the most suitable subcontractors for particular sections of work), Supervising the Installation and Commissioning of All MEP services equipment\'s and systems, Assemblies on sites, involved with site engineers/inspectors. Work Location: Mumbai Work Experience: 5 - 8 Years of experience Background and Requirements Job Requirements Required Qualification: B.E. Electrical/ Mechanical / Construction Management/ PGP Preferred Experience: 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Contracts/Contracts Management with relevant experience in Quantity Estimation &; Rate Analysis (Real estate - Preferred with Hospitality or Hospital experience) of MEP services. Note: Male candidates with 5 to 8 years of experience.
