We are on a quest to find a talented and motivated Associate Product Manager to join our DAS- Data Analytics and Solutions team at Springer Nature.

The job is based in Pune, Maharashtra and you will be working with team members and stakeholders in Germany/ UK/ USA/ UAE/ India

About The Unit

The Data & Analytics Solutions - IT team is responsible for providing the necessary technical and domain expertise required to create and maintain the databases and shared services for our end customers.

Our flagship products namely SpringerMaterials, Experiments and ADIS Insight are built by a team of developers, QAs, BAs, UI & UX experts and SMEs, who collaborate to ensure easy accessibility of relevant data.

We follow a problem statement and user experience driven approach to ensure the right data is available in the simplistic way for the scientific community.

The job is based in Pune where you will as part of Springer Nature\'s digital product development team. You\'ll be part of our big community of developers, team members and stakeholders located in Germany/ UK/ USA/ UAE/ India, to name a few.

Role:

As the Associate Product Manager for our Preprint Platform you will lead a cross-functional Agile team in the development of our Preprint ecosystem. You will drive the product vision, work closely with our cross-functional teams to define product requirements, coordinate stakeholder needs, set key milestones and Go To Market Strategy, track and report on key performance indicators and lead in our product discovery process. You will work hand-in-hand with the Publisher to build a publishing ecosystem that speaks to the needs of researchers, with the goal of creating the next generation of research communication. We\'re looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of the researcher and strong technical product discovery and development skills. You should be highly familiar with the needs and challenges of researchers and the ecosystem in which they operate.

You should be a creative, thoughtful, and commercially-oriented digital product management leader with proven success leading agile product development teams. You must be an effective collaborator, influencer, and communicator with the ability to work well with remote teams. What we\'ll expect from you once you\'re here:

Help us build a publishing solution for the preprint platform that will serve as a business model for the platform

Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new features and versions of the Preprint Platform portfolio

Develop and maintain Preprint Platform strategy and portfolio

Ensure we have a strategy for Product Led Growth

Develop and manage the Product Roadmap and scorecard for the preprint product portfolio based on user needs and stakeholder/business feedback

Lead a cross-functional Agile team in the growth of the Preprinting layer of the RS platform

Manage publishing user experience and features for the organization and private labels, including experience for authors, readers, and B2B partners

Preprintdata storage, reporting, and analysis

In partnership with the Publisher, liaise with Operations, Customer Service, Engineering, and Growth teams to grow users and readers on the Research Square Platform

Market analysis and competitor analysis

Manage third party integrations needed for Preprint platform success, e.g., EM, eJP, StoA, Readcube, Altmetric, scite, Dimensions

Experience you\'ll need

Minimum

6+ years digital product management experience

Experience working with STM researchers

Cross-functional Agile team experience

People management (strong)

Bachelor\'s degree

Strong presentation and storytelling skills

Experience managing and overseeing multiple on-going initiatives simultaneously

Cross-functional communication and collaboration experience

Excellent technical expertise and skills

Preferred
